Course Topics and Objectives

 

•Understand treatment guidelines for obtaining esthetics in implant therapy

 

•Comprehend the value of using a top-down treatment planning approach to case preparation

 

•Recognize the value of utilizing advances in technologies for developing and sustaining esthetic temporary healing abutments and restorations supported by dental implants

 

•Identify advantages of present connections from a restorative perspective and their influence on "white and pink esthetics"

 

 

 

 

Dr. Bittner received her dental degree in Caracas, Venezuela at the Central University of Venezuela and completed a Masters Program in Prosthodontics at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bittner is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry for the Division of Prosthodontics at Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine for several years. She is currently the Program Director for the Post-doctoral Prosthodontics Program.

She has received a regional award from the American College of Prosthodontics North East Section for her research, she also received the Dr. Stanislaw H. Brzustowicz Junior Faculty Award from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine Alumni.
